Taksim Ahmed
I received Ph.D. degree from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, in 2022. Prior to that I obtained Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree from the Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, in 2009. Afterwards, I worked in ACI Pharmaceuticals LTD, Bangladesh (2009–10). I received Master’s in Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degree from the College of Pharmacy, Chosun University, South Korea (2012) and second M.Sc. degree at the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo, Canada (2015). I was the recipient of Connaught International Scholarship for Doctoral Students and Pfizer Canada Graduate Fellowship in Pharmaceutical Sciences. My current research focuses on the development of advanced drug delivery systems for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases. I was born and raised in Bangladesh. Apart from science, I am a violinist, and have been performing at different cultural events since my undergraduate studies.
